A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 and this robot does a bang-up job of keeping my office spotless and also take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D model of your home, so it can know what to stay clear of. It has a good amount of suction power, and it can be configured to take a picture of any object it comes across (i.e., chew toys, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and aren't tied to your account.
It's great for vacuuming, but not as well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
